Discover a delightful blend of history, tea culture, and scenic beauty on the Treasured Teapots & Mountain Views tour—a relaxed day of Blue Mountains charm.
Begin your day in Leura with a visit to Bygone Beautys Treasured Teapots, home to the world’s largest private collection of teawares. This unique museum houses over 5,500 teapots, spanning five centuries and representing cultures from Australia, Europe, Asia, America, and beyond.
Your visit includes a witty, informative, and thoroughly entertaining teapot talk. Your hosts will share captivating stories about the history of tea, the diversity of the teapot collection, and the social impact of tea drinking throughout the centuries. You’ll also hear a detailed description of at least one historically significant teapot from the collection.
Visitors are encouraged to bring along a treasured teapot for a free market appraisal and origin identification.
In addition to the museum experience, you’ll have time to browse the Blue Mountains’ largest private emporium of antiques and collectables. Guests also receive a 10% discount on purchases (conditions apply), plus a souvenir postcard and a “Tea for Two” discount voucher to enjoy on a return visit.
Following your museum visit, enjoy a delicious lunch at Bygone Beautys—the perfect way to conclude your time in this charming venue.
In the afternoon, travel along the scenic Cliff Drive to admire stunning Blue Mountains vistas, before finishing your day at Blackheath Memorial Park, where you can stretch your legs or enjoy the gardens before heading home.
