Step into the historic harbourside suburbs of Woolwich and Hunters Hill, where the Parramatta and Lane Cove Rivers converge with Sydney Harbour. This scenic and story-filled day tour explores Sydney’s maritime past, riverside landmarks, and grand 19th-century mansions.

We begin with a guided tour of Clarkes Point, home to a former Army dry dock now transformed into Sydney Harbour Trust’s Maritime Village. Stroll through this harbourside park and uncover stories of shipbuilding, industry, and transformation. You’ll see the remnants of a dry dock carved into the cliffside, now a serene spot with stunning harbour views.

Wander past Kelly’s Bush, Australia’s first site of green bans, and hear tales of the Old Clock Factory and historic “Cow Paddock.” Along the way, admire the heritage sandstone homes and meticulously landscaped gardens that characterise Woolwich and Hunters Hill.

After the morning’s exploration, we enjoy a hearty lunch at Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club*, where all food will be served on the table on share platters—a relaxed, social dining style that encourages conversation and connection.

In the afternoon, sit back and relax as your guide narrates the river stories of Kissing Point, Looking Glass Bay, and Gladesville—locations that blend Indigenous, colonial, and modern history into a captivating journey along the water’s edge.

This tour blends architecture, nature, and community stories, offering a fresh perspective on some of Sydney’s most picturesque suburbs.
