Step into the treetops and take in breathtaking views on our Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk & Highlands Explorer day tour.

We begin our day with morning tea in Mittagong, before continuing via Robertson to the Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk, nestled on the edge of the Illawarra Escarpment.

This award-winning eco-experience includes a 1.5km rainforest walk featuring 500 metres of elevated steel walkway set 20–30 metres above the forest floor. At 710 metres above sea level, you’ll be treated to sweeping vistas stretching from the rainforest canopy out to Lake Illawarra, the Royal National Park, and the South Pacific Ocean.

Wander through warm temperate rainforest, climb the spiral Knights Tower rising 45 metres above the forest, and test your nerve on two springboard cantilevers suspended high above the escarpment’s edge. Whether you’re admiring native flora or taking in the fresh mountain air, this immersive walk offers a peaceful yet exhilarating experience.

After your walk, rejoin your coach and head into Robertson for lunch at the famous Robertson Pie Shop, before a scenic drive through the highlands. We’ll make an afternoon stop in Bowral, a charming town known for its gardens and relaxed country atmosphere, before beginning the journey home.
