Join your luxury coach for a unique day blending history, scenery and indulgence as we journey into the heart of NSW’s oldest wine region.

This morning, we follow the path of the Great North Road, a 240 km convict-built masterpiece constructed between 1826 and 1836. Much of the original stonework remains visible today, with cut rock drains, culverts and retaining walls still lining the route. Hear the stories of the road’s construction and the lives of the convicts who built it.

A morning tea stop is made at the historic Wollombi Pub, famous for its bush character and quirky Doctor Jurd’s Jungle Juice. Enjoy a break and stretch your legs in this charming village setting.

From here, we head into Hunter Valley wine country, where vines were first planted in 1823. Our next stop is the much-loved Ben Ean winery, where you’ll enjoy a private room tasting of four of their most popular wines, led by a local expert. Afterwards, sit down to a generous selection of shared entrees, showcasing regional flavours in a relaxed, social setting.

The afternoon brings a visit to the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company & Fudge Factory, where you’ll have time to sample handcrafted chocolates, view chocolate-making displays, and shop their tempting range of sweets, jams, and gourmet gifts.

This is a day filled with authentic stories, award-winning flavours, and regional hospitality—ideal for those who enjoy local history and the finer things in life.
