Day 1: Journey to the Sapphire Coast

Join your luxury coach for the journey south to the beautiful Sapphire Coast of NSW. A morning tea break will be provided at Moe where you can purchase a coffee & a snack, followed by lunch provided in Bairnsdale. From there travel along the Princes Highway to Cann River. It is a scenic drive all the way to the coast today & an excellent road. You will be warmly welcomed at the Coachmans Motel Eden. Your contact number during your stay will be 02 6496 1900

Day 2: Central Tilba, Bermagui & Cobargo

This morning travel north to Central Tilba. Classified by the National Trust in 1974, the Village was recently identified as one of Australia’s top 20 heritage sites. It is quite unique with its local artists, leather workers, wood turners & even a cobbler still practicing their crafts. First stop will be at Tilba Cheese which is a 100% Australian owned business. It is an award-winning business created by Nic & Erica Dibden who also operate a dairy farm in the Tilba Tilba Valley & milk beautiful Jersey cows to produce their delicious range of dairy products. Take time to explore the great range of quaint stores in the main street before departing for the stunning seaside village of Bermagui for lunch. After lunch it’s a short drive to Cobargo for a fascinating tour of the local Cobargo Farm. There are 100’s of flowers, a citrus Orchard, pigs, sheep, cattle & chickens. It is incredible & all developed over the past 20 years by Janet Doolin & her late father.

Day 3: Merimbula Aquarium & explore the coast to Tathra & Tura Beach

Today is a sightseeing extravaganza which will provide you with a wonderful scenic journey along the nearby Sapphire Coast. This morning enjoy a visit to the Merimbula Aquarium for a tour including a delicious morning tea, before heading north along the coast. From Merimbula Aquarium it is a short drive along the coast north to Tathra, a stunning coastal village & site of the 2018 devasting fires. Lunch will be provided nearby before some free time this afternoon in Merimbula.

Day 4: Eden: The Killer Whale Museum & a Cruise on Two-Fold Bay

This morning you will enjoy an informative Eden town tour & subject to tides times it will be either this morning or this afternoon following your lunch cruise. This morning will include a visit to the unique Killer Whale Museum. The Museum houses the skeletal remains of the legendary “Old Tom” a Killer whale that reputedly guided whalers to their prey. The museum tells of Eden’s Whaling history. Although long gone, memories of the industry have been recorded in fascinating displays. Down to the Wharf at Eden to board the Cat Balou, this impressive 16metre catamaran has been designed for optimum viewing and comfort. You are likely to be greeted by the local marine life of seals & dolphins & on occasions, in season, maybe a whale. A light lunch is provided on board while you relax & cruise around Two-Fold Bay.

Day 5: Mallacoota

Your journey today takes you across the border into Victoria to Mallacoota which is one of the south coasts best kept secrets with breathtaking views of sandy beaches, majestic headlands & forests. Site of the 2020 fires the town is now well on the way to recovery & your visit assists them in achieving this. The area was first settled in the 1830’s when both Ben Boyd & the Imlay Brothers who were whaling along the coast established the Mallacoota Inlet as their major station south of Twofold Bay. Morning tea upon arrival before a brief town tour & a visit to the World War 2 Operations Bunker which was one of the original headquarters of the RAAF Coastal Intelligence during WW2. There will be a guided tour of the bunker with all its memorabilia. Lunch will be provided at the Mallacoota Pub.

Day 6: Journey Home

Today after an early breakfast depart Eden. A morning tea break along the way at Orbost followed by lunch in Sale and an afternoon break in Warragul. We are sure you will have many new memories of your week in the natural paradise of the Sapphire Coast. Thank you for choosing this tour.
