Day 1 – Sydney to Norfolk Island
We begin our holiday with a flight from Sydney to the emerald shores of Norfolk Island. On arrival, we’ll be greeted with a warm island welcome and transferred to our accommodation for the next 5 nights, South Pacific Resort, set amid lush tropical gardens and just a short stroll from Burnt Pine’s quaint shops and cafés.
The afternoon is free to relax, settle in, or take a gentle stroll around the charming town centre. In the evening, we will be treated to a hearty Barney Duffy’s BBQ Dinner, where you can savour local flavours in a relaxed atmosphere. (D)
Day 2 – Discovering the Island’s Charm
After breakfast we embark on a Half-Day Orientation Tour—the perfect introduction to the island’s fascinating blend of history, culture, and breathtaking scenery. Learn about the early settlers, the convict past, and the unique Pitcairn heritage that gives Norfolk its warm community spirit.
The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace. You may wish to browse the local boutiques, visit the weekend markets, or simply relax at the resort’s pool. As the sun sets, we experience a memorable Progressive Dinner, a heartwarming evening spent visiting island homes and sharing a delicious meal—each course served in a different home, accompanied by stories and laughter that make you feel like part of the Norfolk family. Tonight, enjoy a spectacular Island Fish Fry — a highlight of any Norfolk visit. Dine on freshly caught local fish and island-style dishes while watching the sun dip into the Pacific from a stunning clifftop setting.
The evening concludes with the Sound & Light Show in Kingston, where the island’s history is brought to life through a captivating outdoor performance beneath a canopy of stars. (B,D)
